This flooded limestone Yorkshire quarry boasts 32 acres of woodland, meadow, scrub land, as well as the lake, and is a haven for wildlife. The lake has a maximum depth of 11 metres, with training platforms, 2 boat wrecks, a howitzer field gun, sabre light tank and a hawker hunter jet plane in addition to the possible sighting of some of our aquatic friends such as sterlets, roach, tench, carp, newts, frogs, toads and the new addition of sturgeon.
